BPA

Bisphenol A (BPA) is found in the hard plastic bottles many people use every day. It can imitate the body's hormones, and it can interfere with the production, secretion, transport, action, function, and elimination of natural hormones. BPA can behave in a similar way to estrogen and other hormones in the human body. BPA is not used in the manufacture of PET plastics, these are class 1 plastics and are not recyclable.
