Here are some of the most common questions that I receive from people who order products from my e-stim and BDSM shop. I hope they help.
Answers to common packaging questions.
My primary method of shipping all orders is through Royal Mail. Tracking numbers can be entered into their tracking page to view the progress of your packagen if you selected a tracked shipping option.
Royal Mail - Track Your Item
Their tracking codes look something like this: LG1234567890GB
If ordering from abroad please note that you may be liable for customs or importation fees unless you purchase through my eBay Store where European VAT is collected and handled. I have to attached a CN23 customs label to all international shipments.
I do not charge VAT on export orders here, but I have to do so for customers in the UK.
I actually seal the products that I manufacture in zip lock style packaging and then I use a heat sealer to seal them inside.
You will need to tear off the top of the packaging to get at the electrodes inside. This is the perfect way so that you know it hasn't been tampered with by anyone while the package is on its way to you. It also means I can accept sealed return products should you have changed your mind about your purchase.
This packaging is much more expensive than other options, but I use it as it gives my customers the peace of mind I look for when I buy intimate products online.
Products from companies like Electrastim and E-Stim Systems tend to seal their products using shrink wrap for the same reason why I use the sealed bags.
I use a range of packaging materials depending on what you are buying, its weight and dimensions. These range from those padded "Jiffy Bags" to plain cardboard boxes.
For international orders I'm required by law to attach a customs declaration label on the package listing its contents. I do this as discreetly as I can.
Orders shipped internationaly via DHL have a digital customs declaration, so there will be no indication as to what you ordered on the packaging.
You can read more about my packaging in this Packaging Blog Post.
If you selected a tracked shipping option when you placed your order then you would have been sent tracking information so that you can follow your package on its way to you.
I am unable to provide tracking information for packages sent with a non-tracked shipping option for obvious reasons (it won't have one).
International orders can sometimes get delayed as packages clear through customs authorities, this is quite often a bottleneck in the delivery chain. I have no control over this and I hope that a little patience goes a long way.
It took some research on my part but I am registered with the LUCID data base of the Zentrale Stelle Verpackungsregister (Central Agency Packaging Register). I am registered as using Interseroh+ GmbH as my partner program over in Germany.
