That is why I ship products in plain packaging. Either in those padded jiffy style bags or plain brown cardboard boxes.
International orders have to have a customs declaration on them by law, and if I don't affix one, the package would be turned around and sent back to me or, worse, opened by your customs authorities.
When I fill in customs declarations forms, I am as discreet as I can be.
Here are some examples of descriptions used on customs forms:
- For a control box - Digital Signal Generator.
- For an electrode - Single Pole Contact Electrode (Double or Triple also used in descriptions for electrodes).
- For a Tri-phase cable - Connector Cable With Adaptors.
Orders shipped internationaly via DHL have a digital customs declaration rather than one stuck to the outside of the packaging.
Orders over a preset value qualify for free shipping. For these orders I use Royal Mail International Tracked as the shipping option, you can of course select a courier option at cost, but I cannot offer free courier shipping as my margins are slim.
You need to know and understand your local rules on importing the products I sell.
You can rest assured that if you place an order with me, I will treat your order with the discretion and care that I would hope for myself when ordering things online.
I use a franking machine to affix the stamps to the packages and put a discreet return address label on the back that just has "Sender" and then the return address, so no mention of Joanne's Reviews.
Here is a picture of a recent batch of orders about to be sent to the post office; as you can see, I use discreet packaging. No one will have any idea of the orgasms awaiting the recipient when they put the contents to good use.
I always ship orders in plain packaging.
Recycling
I am aware of how much packaging is used and thrown out every year by everyone around the globe. I try to re-use the packaging that I have been sent where I can.
Things like brown paper packing material and bubble wrap will be recycled and used to package the products I send out securely.
I am sure you will agree that it is a much better option than sending it to my local landfill site.
