This set arrived packaged discreetly with several other items for us to review. The packaging gave no hint as to the contents to the post person. It is good to know that Liebe Seele take customer discretion seriously.

Each item inside the box was wrapped tightly in bubble wrap to secure them in transit. This ensures that each package is not damaged or tossed around while on its way. Overall, I was very happy with both the speed of delivery and the packaging of the items that I was sent by Liebe Seele.

Materials and design

This set includes nine separate items, making it an excellent bondage starter kit.

The collection comprises of a blindfold, ball gag, collar and leash, handcuffs, ankle cuffs, paddle, flogger, hogtie and a mini massager. What more could you need for a starter set?

Made from a mixture of PU, Plush fabric, Metal, and Silicone. The PU is in a snakeskin type design with a soft plush fabric liner. I received the green melon colour set, but it is also available in mint.

The blindfold, cuffs, and collar have a snakeskin design on the PU side; the inside has a soft plush fabric that makes them comfortable against the skin. The other pieces do not have the plush fabric finish. The mini vibrator and ball gag are made from silicone.

Each piece is stitched together well and finished with beautifully shiny silver-coloured metal buckles.

The set comes with a fabric bag in the same colour, which holds all of the items safe in a pull tie closure. This is all housed in a cardboard tub. This tub shows what is included in the set along the side.

The packaging of this kit is simply divine, I love it.

Performance

Here I am going to describe each piece in the set. Let me start with the blindfold.

The blindfold has a very soft lining making it feel very comfortable against the eyes. The shape helps to ensure that the wearer cannot see out from under the eyepieces. The buckle and strap allow for a variety of head sizes. We had a lot of fun using this staple piece of BDSM equipment. It is perfect for sensory play; removing the ability to see allows the other sense to become more honed to what is happening around the wearer.

The ball gag does not have a soft lining on the PU strap. The silicone ball is body-safe and free from phthalates and latex.

It has three holes through the silicone ball that allow free breathing, and this is a great safety feature. The ball is solid with only a very slight give, with silicone arms attached to the strap with metal loops. The strap is long enough to ensure a good fit on most head sizes. We had no problem with its size.

The blindfold is very comfortable and sub'r' has a very small bite but had no problem wearing the ball gag.

The collar is comfortable to wear with its soft lining. The design allows the back to overlap for smaller sizes and is held snuggly in place with a metal buckle. The front of the collar features a large loop to keep the long leash securely in place. The leash clips in place and has a handle of the same PU as the rest of the set. The leash is perfect for establishing control.

The wrist and ankle cuffs are soft inside and comfortable to wear. They are designed to fit snuggly against the skin with secure buckles. The straps allow the cuffs to overlap enough to fit smaller wrists and ankles. The cuffs also have a metal loop allowing the hogtie to be attached. You could also use other forms of restraint with the loops.

The buckles are held neatly in place with metal studs. The cuffs come with two short chains with a clip at each end. These allow you to secure the cuffs together if required.

The collar and cuffs are comfortable and stylish.

The hogtie is four pieces of PU attached to a steel circlet. The PU straps are wrapped over the steel and secured with a metal stud. Each piece's end has a metal clip to attach to the cuffs. These clips are easy to operate and quick to fix in place or remove.

The length of the hogtie is not adjustable but easily restrains sub 'r' in place. It's strong enough not to allow sub 'r' some movement or wriggle opportunities (she loves to squirm and strain against restraints). It will be tighter for someone over 6ft tall. The clips have longer overlapping pieces to ensure that a submissive cannot remove them.

The hog tie is a lot of fun to use and sub'r' enjoyed squirming when tied up that way.

The paddle is PU on one side and plush soft fabric on the other. The paddle is small with a thin wrist strap. Not designed to quickly redden your submissives bottom, it is still fun to play and suitable for skin play with the two sides. We did try to see if it was possible to re-create the snakeskin design on sub r's bottom but did not manage to do so. It was great fun trying though ;-)

The paddle feels like two different impact play toys with its dual textures.

The whip is made with thin strips of PU. The PU is the same design as the rest of the set. The whip has a small loop at the end to hang it up when not in use. While the whip is pretty small, it is a good size for some fun skin play. The strips are cut thin and can provide a nice sting with a bit of practice. Its size makes it ideal for pussy and breast play as well as the usual target areas on the body.

The little wand-style vibrator may not look like much, but the small size does hide a very nicely powered motor. It is covered in smooth silicone, making the vibrator body safe and waterproof; it is shaped like a miniature wand and looks cute. Featuring a flexible head to make it fun for clit play where you can add pressure or use a light touch. The rounded head gives a good surface area for maximum coverage of your clit. You can also push the head of the vibrator inside your vagina.

It has a good selection of speeds and patterns to choose from. There is a single button which is all the controls you need. Simply press to cycle through the settings to find the one you want. At the base of the handle is a tiny hole for the pin charger to be inserted to charge. A USB charging cable is included in the set.

The mini wand style vibrator is the star of the show though, I love it.

We have reviewed some other BDSM kits in the past, but none of them stands up to the quality and play options of this one.

With all nine items, you can really get creative in how you play, and that little vibrator is an absolute gem to play with. The battery lasts a surprisingly long time, and recharging it is quick and straightforward.

The restraints are both comfortable and stylish too. I was not too keen on the colour when I first opened the box, but it has certainly grown on me. It is refreshing to see a BDSM play kit that isn't black, red or purple.

The snakeskin effect on the PU products looks good and again adds to the overall feel that this is a kit that is a cut above the rest.

The included bag is a nice touch when finished playing with the set. It allows you to store the items securely out of sight if you don't wish to use the delightfully designed round box it comes in.

The storage bag is an excellent touch and just the right size too.

All in all, I think this is a perfect BDSM kit, and while it is priced at the top end of the competition, it is worth every penny.

It is a set that would make an ideal present for someone or just something to get to spice up your bedroom (or any other room for that matter) playtime.

It has all the core pieces of equipment, so you really do have lots of play opportunities with it. Perfect for tie tease fun or as the basis of a beginner's BDSM kitbag, it is an attractive option. Just add any specialised pieces of impact play kit, and you have a nice ready-made collection of toys. As I have already alluded to, the vibrator is a fantastic addition to this set.

Final Thoughts

This is a fantastic kit that, while expensive, is definitely worth every penny. At first, the colour scheme was a little strange for me as I usually go for black, red or purple BDSM kit, but it has really grown on me.

I have had so much fun getting to know it, and sub'r' has drooled, whimpered and squirmed on numerous occasions as I have used it on her. We both love it.

The colour is actually a refreshing change from the usual schemes you get with BDSM kits, and that, coupled with the sheer choice of play options you get with this kit, makes it a great kit to own.

The vibrator deserves one final mention; it really is a powerful little beast packed into a tiny form. I was blown away by its performance, and the battery just seems to go on and on for ages between charges.
