Liebe Seele - Angels Kiss Wrist Cuffs Review

It took less time than we expected to receive the box from Japan. The plain box was well packaged and discreet, without mentioning the naughty contents.

Inside the box were several boxes from Liebe Seele of products from their latest product lines for me to review.

Angel's Kiss Wrist Cuff Set was packaged in a lift-off lid box covered with thin plastic. The box makes a great storage space for when the cuffs are not in use. The strong card is thick and held closed with a card slip-over cover with a picture of the contents. The slip-over cover is stylish, with the name of the range in English and the other writing in Japanese.

The packaging of these cuffs is really nice and I enjoyed the unboxing process.

After lifting the box lid, there was a thick plastic wrap with a branded Liebe Seele sticker. Inside was the cuff set, the chain with trigger clips was inside a sealed plastic bag, and the two padlocks and keys were inside a zip lock bag. I like that these two items were packaged in a bag. If not, they may scratch each other while moving around in transit.

As usual, I was delighted with how Liebe Seele packages their wares. The unboxing experience feels luxurious and matches the quality of the cuffs.

Materials and design

The Angel's Kiss Wrist Cuffs are cow's leather. But to add a little twist, Liebe Seele has not only dyed the front layer a lovely shade of pink, but they have also made it look like ostrich skin. Featuring little bumps scattered over the entire side of the pink leather.

The leather looks and feels fantastic and the included padlocks are really nice too.

The collar is lined with an additional layer of black leather. This extra layer makes the cuffs feel slightly padded, and it is stitched with a strong pink thread to enhance the look. The buckle strap is an additional black leather strip pinned over the pink leather's centre. The swivel ring is pinned securely in the centre.

The metalwork is in rose gold, giving it a lovely finish. The buckle is a lockable design, with the optional rose gold heart-shaped padlock and keys allowing you to lock them in place on your sub's wrists. The colour options chosen create a striking colour palette that looks fabulous

The adjustable cuffs allow the leather to overlap if using the smaller settings easily. The large buckle makes closure easy. The chain is a matching rose gold colour, made from thick metal with a reasonable length of approximately 10cm/4" (not including the clips).

The rose gold metal fittings and chain look and feel luxurious and this colour goes well with the leather on these cuffs.

Performance

When I opened the box, sub 'r' was dying to try on these pretty pink cuffs. This was a great idea, so sub 'r' was told to stand in position and hold each wrist out for me to cuff.

The cuffs fitted quickly around each wrist, and I found it very easy to secure them in place with the buckle. I, of course, needed to ensure she could not remove them. So once I assured myself they were not too tight, I padlocked them with the cute heart-shaped padlocks. That brought a huge grin from her.

These cuffs are very comfortable and the fact that they are lockable really fits in with our play style.

I sat back to admire the cuffed sub 'r'. The wrist cuffs look great against her skin. sub 'r' assured me they feel very comfortable to wear. The leather is supple enough to feel soft against her wrists. Once fastened, the cuffs are rigid enough to maintain their shape. I secured her wrists together using the chain provided to complete the look.

The pink leather's ostrich skin effect gives the set a unique look. I love the contrast of the dark leather against the pink. Then the rose gold coloured metal work finishes off the set well.

The adjustable length of the cuffs ensures a good fit, although you may struggle to fit larger wrists. I found the padlocks very easy to lock into place, and the tiny keys work efficiently and quickly to unlock them.

I love the fact that these cuffs are lockable.

We have used this cuff set on several occasions, and they are excellent quality. They are bound to appeal to anyone looking for a lighter take on their restraints. There is nothing wrong with darker cuffs, but it is nice to have something brighter to choose from

The rest of the Angel's Kiss range from Liebe Seele is worth checking out if you want to get some brighter restraints.

Final Thoughts

The Angel's Kiss Wrist Cuffs is an attractive-looking set. The quality leather contrasting coloured leather paired with the rose gold metal makes a stunning set that would look great in anyone's collection.

They look great and are very comfortable to wear. So much so that I had to order sub 'r' to stand still so, I could remove them after an hour. After all, she needed to get some work done.
