John's Tackle Dildo From John Thomas Toys

Written by  Mar 29, 2024

John's Tackle is certainly a filling choice for any orifice to enjoy

John Thomas Toys (JTT for short) manufactures some amazing body-safe silicone sex toys. They offer an extensive range of not only dildos but also stretchers and depth play toys.

All their insertable toys are made from platinum-grade silicone. Using copper moulds ensures that every one is perfect just like the original.

"I loved the stretch it provided as it parted my pussy walls as it sank in further. The feel of the glans ridge was exquisite as it popped inside."

Joanne

Whether you like realistic or fantasy dildos, JTT offer something for everyone. Whenever they ask to send me something to review, I always look forward to seeing what their designers have come up with.

This review is for the new John's Tackle dildo from JTT. I received all four sizes in the pale skin tone colour. So let me tell you all about it.

Delivery & Packaging

JTT always dispatch items to me quickly and discreetly. The plain cardboard box is taped securely, and the label is discreet, without mentioning the website or its contents.

The contents are packed together with packing paper, which is better for the environment and ensures the dildos cannot move during transit. This is important as these are substantial pieces of silicone and weigh a lot.

Each dildo is covered in a transparent heat-sealed film. I like this type of packaging as there is less waste to dispose of, especially as soft plastics can now be recycled.

On the film of each dildo are three stickers, one to remind you to wash before use. This is essential as you want to remove any release agents and postprocessing materials before inserting anything. The other stickers are the JTT logo and the firmness rating. Inside the box, I also received four vac-u-lock compatible suction cup holders. Each holder is sealed in a plastic film and placed in a small cardboard box.

I have never had a problem with any JTT delivery as they take customer discretion very seriously.

Materials and design

John's Tackle is made from platinum-cure silicone. Silicone is one of my favourite materials for insertable toys. Silicone is a non-porous, body-safe material. It's soft and flexible, and you can use it for temperature play. Silicone is also phthalate, latex and PVC free, making it hypoallergenic.

JTT uses copper moulds to produce their products. This is a more expensive method than that used by some other manufacturers. The great thing about this process is that every item out of that mould will be precisely the same as the first. So every vein, wrinkle, bump and ridge will be exactly the same.

JTT's designers produce some fantastic designs; John's Tackle is another example. If you are looking for a larger-than-life realistic dildo, then look no further.

This is a girthy dildo, which is wide from tip to base. Even the small could be too big for those who need or want thinner dildos. It is essential that you check the sizes on the JTT website, as it lists all of the relevant dimensions for you to make an informed decision as to whether you can take a specific size.

John's Tackle has the foreskin pulled partially back and shows the lovely glans ridge under the foreskin. This ridge is beautifully deep, and the shaft has some lovely veins running along it. The texture of the silicone is made to simulate the look and feel of skin, and they have done an outstanding job of doing that.

The balls on this dildo look like they have been pulled out in a cold room (no offence, guys). The JTT logo is on the opposite side of the balls near the base. Under the dildo is a vac-u-lock compatible hole. This gives you plenty of play choices.

JTT provides a free vac-u-lock compatible suction cup holder with every compatible product. The suction cup is manufactured by JTT and has its website around the base. These suction cup holders work very well.

I prefer my dildos to have vac-u-lock compatible holes in the base, not just for suction cup play, but it allows me to use them with strap-on harnesses and my trusty fucking machines, too.

Performance

Having all four sizes in front of me made it easy to choose the size I wanted to play with. JTT publish a complete list of measurements on every product page. This helps you to select the right size for you.

I am not a size queen (who am I kidding, but I do know my limits), so I decided to play with the medium, sub 'r' was given the small. Even though the medium was large for me, I was excited about the challenge ahead.

Knowing I needed to prepare myself, I grabbed another of my JTT dildos and a large bottle of J Lube (my favourite water-based lube). I began by pouring some lube onto my clit and slowly rubbing it in. Pouring more lube onto my pussy I rubbed the smaller dildo against my clit and pussy before pushing it inside. After a short while of play, I was ready for the big boy.

I coated lube onto John's Tackle as I knew I would need it. Opening my swollen pussy lips with the broad tip of John's Tackle, I relaxed to the feel of it sliding between my wet folds. The smooth tip glided marvellously through the moisture. I soon started adding some pressure behind my movements to push the head inside.

I loved the stretch it provided as it parted my pussy walls as it sank in further. The feel of the glans ridge was exquisite as it popped inside. As I pushed the dildo deeper, I could feel the glans ridge rubbing against my wet pussy walls, and this felt delicious.

Image showing the amazing skin textures on John's TackleThe feel of the skin-like wrinkles and veins had me almost believing it was a real cock thrusting away inside me. Holding firmly onto the balls, I could really speed up my thrusting. The fantastic stretch and added sensations provided by that marvellous glans ridge veins and wrinkles had me coming apart in no time. It gets tiring after a while, though, as these toys are heavy, and you need a lot of force to thrust with them. It is well worth the effort, though.

As John's Tackle is a vac-u-lock compatible dildo, I also played using my favourite fucking machine. The fact that John's Tackle is made from silicone and quite a chunky dildo makes it reasonably heavy. With this in mind, I needed to put some weights on the rear legs of the fucking machine to keep it stable.

Using big toys like this on a fucking machine is something that I love doing. Sub'r' really enjoys it, too, but she also enjoys riding them on a suction cup adaptor or being on the receiving end of some strap-on play.

Both of us really enjoyed the challenge of taking John's Tackle. It really is a nice stretcher style for a dildo, and the skin texture holds onto the lube well. With this one, you will need lots of lube, no matter what hole it is going in. We only played with it vaginally, but the balls on it would mean it is safe to anal play, too, if you can take it, that is.

Cleaning John's Tackle after play is easy; you can even place it in a dishwasher for cleaning (remember to remove it before anyone else may, though, especially if you have a helpful mother-in-law). I prefer to wash mine with anti-bacterial soap in hot water. You can even boil it to sanitise it.

Final thoughts

Although I usually prefer lots of ridges and bumps, I thoroughly enjoyed playing with John's Tackle. The glans ridge gave a lovely deep ridge to enjoy, and the veins provided subtle sensations when thrusting with it.

The balls also proved handy as a handhold for thrusting, or if you are going to play anally, they will stop it travelling too deep.

I can highly recommend this dildo to anyone who wants a girthy, realistic dildo. Especially if you plan on using it on the included suction cup adaptor, a strap-on harness or a good old fucking machine.

The girth feels sublime; I just can't get enough of it.

I was sent the John's Tackle dildos by John Thomas Toys and I would like to thank them for giving me the opportunity to review it for them, it is always a pleasure and never a chore.
