As usual, I only waited for a few days before the delivery person was at my door with a large and very heavy box for me :)

Although I was dying to dive straight in to look at the dildos in the flesh (so to speak), I waited until I could film my usual box opening for my youtube channel.

The box was plain and securely sealed, with no indication that it was full of some kinky dildos. I do wonder what the delivery person would think if they knew.

I was lucky to have been sent all four sizes of the Original Tentacle dildo.

Materials and design

John Thomas Toys use high-quality platinum cure medical grade silicone in their wares. It's my preferred material for insertable toys as it is body-safe, non-porous, and is latex, rubber and phthalate free. These make the material hypo-allergenic. It's also a more robust material than some others used in the industry.

Using copper moulds, JTT ensures that every dildo produced in that mould will have precisely the same features. This is a more expensive manufacturing process, but JTT wants to ensure its quality is second to none, and I can attest to always being delighted with everything they have sent me to review.

The Original Tentacle was designed from the imagination of Daniel Gibbs, an intern designer for JTT. He did a fantastic job with it.

The textures on this dildo feel amazing.

So let me describe this dildo for you.

As the name suggests, this dildo looks similar to an octopus tentacle (just less slimy) but has some added benefits. Not only does it feature lots of lovely suckers, but lots and lots of deep ridges too, that deliver some fantastic sensations.

In fact, it looks like it is made up of stacks of rings, each with two suckers, with the stack narrowing as you move up towards the tip. The "skin" of this dildo has a mottled effect giving a great additional texture to enjoy.

The suckers run in a straight line up the entire length, and the dildo has a nice curve looking a little like a horn. As I really couldn't wait to find out how these felt internally, I dove right in there as soon as I completed the unboxing video.

JTT offer a choice of two firmness ratings, soft and medium, I was sent the medium this time.

The medium is a good feel for the Original Tentacle, providing a good mix of firmness with a slight squish.

The base has the JTT logo and name, and it also has a vac-u-lock compatible hole. This allows you to use it on a fucking machine, strap-on or with a suction cup if you don't just want to use it with your hand.

With a fantastic choice of colours available, I was sent the pink and blue mix, which is the best-looking colour in my opinion. As the colour effect is made using a hand-pouring technique called 'fusion', each dildo has its unique colour finish, meaning yours is bespoke. There will not be another like it.

There are some nice colour optionbs to choose from.

Each dildo is covered in a transparent heat-sealed plastic film and has the JTT logo sticker, a sticker with the firmness rating and a third sticker to remind you to wash the dildo before use.

JTT provides a free vac-u-lock compatible suction cup and a storage bag with each dildo. The suction cup is JTT's own design and holds the dildo well on a clean, smooth flat surface.

The included vac-u-lock suction cup holder works very well.

I really like the storage bags provided, there are different sizes, and you will be sent one that fits the size of the dildo you have purchased. The bags are made from a black faux velvet material, with the JTT branding printed in white on one side. It can be sealed using the drawstring closure. The material is thick and robust, ensuring that it will keep your dildo clean of lint and dust while it is put away.

Performance

On to the fun part of a review, well fun for me ;-)

The Original Tentacle is not only pleasant to look at, but all those deep ridges and the suckers along its length provide lots of stimulation. Throw in the mottled textured surface, all of which had me squirming very quickly. Because the suckers run over the entire length, you enjoy the feel from the tip to the base (if you can take it that far).

The tapered tip makes insertion easy, and the angle means you can rub it against your g-spot as you ride this dildo. I enjoyed the firmness of the ones I was sent. It provided a comfortable amount of squish without losing the excellent feel of every ridge and bump.

The tapered tip makes insertion an easy task - to start with, but things get stretchy really quickly.

The combination of suckers, ridges and the mottled finish all added excellent stimulation, and I could feel them all.

I used just a tiny amount of water-based lube (J-Lube this time) to help until my natural juices flowed nicely to ensure the easy glide of the tentacle. I prefer to use a water-based lube with any of my silicone insertables.

To add more friction, I enjoyed the feel of twisting the tentacle once inserted, making the tip rub beautifully against my walls. Taking it deep enough to appreciate the slight hit on my cervix.

I bet you are wondering which size I decided to try. Well, as I usually say with JTT, always check the measurements before you buy. As one design size can drastically differ from another. With the small being similar to a basic 6" dildo, I decided to try the large one. And sub 'r' got the chance to play with the medium. It seemed only fair to share :)

The base made it easy to hold in play, and you can always take full advantage of the vac-u-lock compatible hole. Having said that, I had to try it on a fucking machine for comparison purposes, of course. I can also confirm that using it in a strap-on harness is so much fun, I am sure that sub'r' agrees.

Because the Original Tentacle is not a floppy dildo, I found that it works exceptionally well on a fucking machine. That is as long as I ensured that the tip stayed inside when the machine was fully withdrawn.

The feel of all those ridges powering in and out, had my toes curling in pleasure extremely quickly. I found that I could prolong my enjoyment by varying the speed, though, which is good as with all that texture, it would be a short session if I didn't.

I love the design of this dildo and the textures it wields. They feel sublime, and I don't think I will ever tire of relishing the feeling of it sliding into my pussy and stretching me wider and wider with each inch.

These textures feel amazing, they hold lube well too but can be a bit of a vagoo trap.

The great thing about these silicone dildos is that you can not only fully immerse them to clean them. But you can also put it in the dishwasher for super easy cleaning. Before drying, you must ensure that all that pussy juice has been removed from around every sucker and ring. These areas can be a bit of a vagoo magnet, but since I have a dildo toothbrush (don't laugh), I can quickly clean these areas.

I hand-washed mine, first leaving it to soak in very hot water with some antibacterial soap. Then washing it gently by hand and with my trusty dildo brush to ensure all the goo was removed.

Once you are happy it is spotless, I recommend air drying it. Although, do ensure that it is placed out of sight of nosy neighbours or children who may think it is a sea monster toy, LOL.

Once dry, place it in the lovely faux velvet storage bag supplied with your dildo so that it stays clean and safe until you want to go deep sea diving again. You can even store the vac-u-lock compatible suction cup in the same bag.

I really enjoyed the combination of stretching and textures with this dildo. Putting it on a fucking machine took it to a whole new level, though. Fast strokes make you appreciate the detailed surface textures and those impressive ridges.

I was not disappointed with my play sessions, and sub 'r' agrees with me, as she really enjoyed hers too.
