What the hell is going on with social media

For anyone who is unaware, recently most social media channels have been slowly but surely censoring people who post about sexuality on their platforms. I'm not talking about people posting hardcore porn, I am talking about educators, advocates, bloggers and even little old me.

Platform rules have been changing to prevent people talking about sex subjects and a lot of good people and information is being censored and this is a worrying trend.

Today Twitter has actually started to censor the word 'bisexual' in all image and video searches. This is censorship of an entire group of people, censorship of a sexual orientation.

You can still search for KKK and Nazi posts though. I cannot even believe that I have to say that it's Nazi's and the KKK that need banning from Twitter. I'm starting to lose faith in humanity and our ability to fight for what is right and just. Facebook won't even let you show a breast FFS!

Censorship sucks, it's Nazi's we need to ban

People need to wake up to the fact that our social lives are being censored and this is not good. Adults have the right to look at and talk about what they like in a safe and sane manner.

I am now silenced on Twitter having been shadowbanned and I'm not the only one. Lots of my blogging friends have been shadowbanned which is a cowardly and insideous attempt to censor us. This gave rise to the Share our Shit Saturday hashtag #SoSS. We need your help. If you like a bloggers posts or articles then please share the link on social media. It's the only way we have to reach a new audience and grow.

Dear Twitter,

We aksed you to ban Nazis, homophobic posts and racism but you have totally lost the plot and banned Bisexuality.

WTF!

This action makes you out to be the homophobic Nazis sympaphisers that we all want to get rid of. I strongly suggest that you take a look at yourself in the mirror and hang your heads in shame.
