Licx Arousal Gel and Wipes
Licx Arousal Gel & Intimate Wipes
I am delighted to have been able to review some more products from the Licx range of intimate lubricants and products, these two items are certainly worth checking out as are their range of lubricants - the Deluxe Cream Lube and their Gel Lube, you can read my review of these great products HERE.
I use a lot of lube (goes with the territory I guess) but I have only tried a few arousing gels or creams before. I was also looking forward to testing out the wipes as they come in a handy pocket or handbag sized single use sachets which are very convenient.
I applied it directly onto my clitoris and almost immediately I felt a chilling effect which was probably from the peppermint oil and it felt very nice indeed. It wasn't too overpowering but it just made my clit tingle whilst feeling cold. It was really rather nice.
So on with the review then...
Licx are relative newcomers to the lube market place and their products are already proving to be very good indeed. I love their a great attitude to their customers, the provide a discreet service with some pretty amazing products and they closely listen to all feedback. I am really looking forward to seeing what they come up with next as their first products are all very good.
Everyone is welcome at Licx and we will do our utmost to serve you with consideration and discretion.
Looking at their site it is obvious that they are trying to create a sophisticated brand image and are very approachable. Their packaging is very nice and creates a good brand image. I love the fact that these two products come in small sachets as they will stay fresh longer that way.
They provide free shipping on all orders over £15 and guarantee discretion. All of their lubes come in a range of sizes from handy bag or pocket sized sachets to 250ml bottles for the discerning lube addict.
My package from them arrived quickly and discreetly so I can vouch for that side of their business.
Licx Arousal Gel
I have tried a few arousal products in the past but have found that most are either too bland and don't work well or are so over the top as to make me want to cool my lady bits in a bucket of ice. I was curious to see how the Licx Arousal Gel would perform.
I have been supplied several 5ml sachets of the gel and it's a great way to always ensure that you are using clean and fresh gel as these are one shot sachets. Open it, use it and dispose of it discreetly. It is also available as part of the Licx Mix For Her Pack.
The instructions on the back of the sachet recommend using a small amount initially and then once you have felt its effect use as much of as little as you desire.
I tore open one of the sachets and squeezed a small pea sized amount of it onto my finger. I found it very easy to open the sachets which is good.
Playing with it between my finger and thumb my initial thoughts were that it is a nice and thick gel so it'll be easy to apply just where you need it without it running everywhere. I applied it directly onto my clitoris and almost immediately I felt a chilling effect which was probably from the peppermint oil and it felt very nice indeed. It wasn't too overpowering but it just made my clit tingle whilst feeling cold. It was really rather nice.
Some stimulating products tend to fade quickly but this one doesn't, it keeps working on you even after you have completely rubbed it into your skin. I really got a nice buzz from it up to a point as after about five minutes I found that it started to get a bit uncomfortable for me and so I used one of the Licx wipes to clean it off.
Now, I know that others love this gel but for me it was great at the beginning but got a bit much for me after a while. This is going to be a personal thing and it will probably be completely different for you. The good thing about these sachets is that you can try it cheaply without wasting a lot of money if you find out that it isn't for you.
I honestly like this gel but it is just a little too much for me.
A pack of five sachets will cost you just £4.99 from the Licx website.
Licx Intimate Wipes
The Licx Intimate Wipes also come in handy sachets that would be easy to carry around in your pocket or handbag as well as a Flow-Pack of 10. Simply tear off one edge of the sachet before removing and unfolding the wipe. These wipes are fragrance and paraben free but they do contain Aloe Vera to help moisturise your skin. They are also water-based, pH-balanced and contain no oils.
They are marginally smaller than the Give Lube Cheeky Wipes but are of comparable thickness and strength. In use I found that they performed well and cleaned me up nicely leaving me feeling clean and fresh. One was enough to clean myself up.
Licx wipes are also cheaper to purchase than their competitors which makes them an attractive option. I like them and will be keeping a couple in my bag for those moments when you just need a damn good clean up.
The Arousal Gel works a treat and right from the word go it feels great. You should really try it out but for me the sensations just got a bit much after about five minutes of use. This is going to be down to my own physiology and preferences, you will probably be different. Don't let my experience stop you from giving them a go as it really is very arousing. Try it out for yourself to make your own mind up about it.
The Intimate Wipes do exactly what they should do, they are cheap, easy to carry around and the Aloe Vera does make your skin feel soft after using one.
- Handy sized sachets
- Easy to apply/use
- Arousal gel definite does just that
- The gel may not suit everyone
As with my reviews of the Deluxe Cream Lube and Gel Lube, I think that Licx have got two great products here that some are going to really enjoy whilst others like myself might just find the arousal gel to be a bit too stimulating. They are cheap enough to make it definitely worth taking a chance. Try them out for yourself and whilst you are at it look at the Licx line of lubes for some incredibly thick gel lubes.
