John Thomas Toys not only dispatched my review items quickly, but they always send them in discreet packaging.

The boxes are robust and plain. Robust is crucial if you have ever bought a toy from JTT, as they are heavy due to the silicone content of them. As a bonus, I never need to worry about anyone else knowing the box's contents until I open it.

Inside the box, I found all four sizes of Tom Thumb dildo packed safely together with plain packaging paper. Each dildo was sealed in a transparent film to protect them from dust and dirt. A sticker on the film lets you know which firmness rating you have received.

I was sent all four sizes of Tom Thumb silicone stretcher.

You will also receive a branded plastic bag, inside which you will find a storage bag for the dildo. As I received the four sizes, I also received four storage bags.

JTT also provide you with a free vac-u-lock compatible suction cup holder; more on that later in the review.

Materials and design

JTT use a fantastic blend of platinum cure silicone to make Tom Thumb. Silicone is my go-to material for insertable toys as it is a body-safe material, being non-porous, latex, rubber and phthalate free.

Silicone is also my preferred insertable material because it is much more durable than some of the cheaper alternatives.

It also allows you to enjoy temperature play, whether that be warm or cold play. Giving you the option of adding a new dimension to some fun.

John Thomas Toys use copper moulds when making their creations. This process is much more expensive than others, but it ensures incredible detail and quality.

As the name suggests, Tom Thumb is designed using the designer's thumb. JTT has just supersized it for much more fun. A normal-sized thumb would be disappointing, of course.

This large thumb is so realistic (apart from the actual size) it has all the natural creases and folds you would expect. The part I find truly unique is that it even has a thumbprint and thumbnail.

The thumbnail is very soft, though, and while fully formed, you needn't worry about it being uncomfortable. The silicone has a lovely draggy finish. This dildo also features a laurel leaf-style thumb ring. The ring gives a delightful added sensation in use, and it's one of my favourite features of this toy.

The thumbnail is a striking feature that looks solid but is incredibly flexible and comfortable in use.

As you move down the thumb's length, you find that it gets steadily wider. This is what makes it a good stretcher. The gentle increase in girth feels fantastic, as long as you can take enough of it to enjoy that feature.

The base has the familiar JTT name on one side and their logo on the other. It also has a vac-u-lock compatible hole in the base. This is an excellent feature as it gives you more play options. You can use it with a strap-on harness, fucking machine or a vac-u-lock suction cup.

The vac-u-lock compatible hole in the base of the Tom Thumb allows you to get creative, and the JTT suction cup adaptor works very well.

JTT also provide you with a good quality faux velvet storage bag. You will receive the right size to fit the dildo you have purchased. I really like these bags as the material is robust enough to securely hold even the XL size dildo. They look very stylish with the white print branding on one side of the black faux velvet. The drawstring closure helps ensure that your dildo is kept away from any dust or fluff while not in play ;-)

Included in the price is also a vac-u-lock compatible suction cup. This works really well on a clean flat surface. So tiles or the bathtub make a great choice.

One tip when using vac-u-lock compatible adaptors is to dust the hole inside with some corn starch. This makes removal a much easier process and reduces the risk of damage to the dildo when you remove it from the adaptor.

Performance

With four sizes to choose from, I enjoyed the medium-sized Tom Thumb the most. Using the tip to flick my clit felt really good. Just add some water-based lube for a lovely slide. I prefer J-lube, but any water-based lube will work well.

The blend of silicone holds lube well, and when you get to the broader parts of the dildo, lube is definitely your friend.

The smooth top of the thumb feels great as it glides in, giving a slight stretch the more you take inside. Once you get to the ring, the ridge and design provide excellent additional stimulation.

I really enjoy having the dildo fill me and bending it so that the ring rests on top of my clit. Thrusting with it in this position or rotating it feels sublime as the added textures do their magic.

The detail and textures on the ring feels fantastic when you play with this dildo/stretcher.

As you slide past the ring, you can feel it rub against your walls. It does feel delicious as you move it in and out. I enjoyed the gradual stretch as I pushed more of Tom Thumb inside myself. That is a sensation that I will never get tired of experiencing.

After I finish playing, I always wash Tom Thumb in hot soapy water, using an anti-bacterial soap. Using a super-soft toothbrush on the ring was the best way to ensure I did not leave any bodily fluids behind.

If you prefer, place it in the dishwasher, which is a quick and easy way to clean it. Let it air dry thoroughly before placing it in the storage bag; ready for next time, though.

Final Thoughts

I really enjoyed my playtime with Tom Thumb. I loved the smooth texture and the added ridges and bumps provided by the ring.

It is the ring that makes this one so unique. It feels incredible internally and also against my clitoris.

A fun design which not only looks impressive but feels great.

Overall, I give Tom Thumb a huge thumbs up (see what I did there LOL). It is another quirky design from John Thomas Toys, a brand synonymous with quality and choice.
