John Thomas Toys RHINO Stretcher Review

I did not have long to wait before the box full of stretchers arrived at my door. The box was robust and plain, as is always the case with deliveries from JTT, and was well sealed with plain brown parcel tape.

The shipping label did not mention the JTT website, making it very discreet. I appreciate the discretion, ensuring that the delivery driver and my neighbours do not know what naughty contents are inside the box.

I removed the packing paper to discover the contents on opening the box. Under the paper were all four sizes of Rhino. Each stretcher was sealed inside a transparent film. I like this minimalistic approach to packaging.

Inside the box were also a vac-u-lock compatible suction cup holder/adaptor and four faux velvet storage bags. One bag for each stretcher, so I received four different-sized bags. JTT sends bags and vac-u-lock compatible suction cup adaptors for free with compatible toys.

I was sent all four sizes in three colours of RHINO.

Materials and design

JTT uses platinum-grade silicone to produce their insertable sex toys. I love their blend; it has just the right amount of surface drag to help hold the lube in place. Platinum-grade silicone is a fantastic material for insertable sex toys. This is because it is more robust than cheaper materials. However, knowing that it is non-porous, body-safe and hypoallergenic is more important. Platinum-grade silicone is free from latex, PVC and phthalates.

JTT is very proud of every sex toy it manufactures and uses copper moulds to ensure that every item produced has the precise features the designer made. JTT offers a lifetime warranty for no-quibble replacements, so you can rest assured you are buying a quality product.

Right onto the design of Rhino, it has a rounded, relatively wide tip and a slowly widening shaft. Towards the base, under the widest part of the shaft, is a narrower neck, which widens into a large round base. On the base is the JTT name on one side and the JTT logo on the other. Underneath the base is a vac-u-lock compatible hole.

The tip on RHINO is rounded but quite wide so take your time inserting it.

The smooth silicone is designed to glide against moist skin well, slowly stretching your anus to the size you want.

The vac-u-lock compatible hole ensures you have more play options. You will receive a free vac-u-lock compatible suction cup holder/adaptor with every compatible toy. These holders/adaptors work well on clean, smooth, flat surfaces like tiles. The ridges that hold the silicone toy in place are not sharp enough to rip the silicone toy upon removal. However, you should still take care when removing the adaptor.

JTT provides a free black faux velvet storage bag with every toy. These bags come in a variety of sizes. Each bag has the JTT branding printed on one side in white. The faux velvet is a strong, thick, well-stitched material with a drawstring closure. I like the durability and functionality of these bags, and I use them to keep my toys between play sessions.

Performance

Rhino is a smaller version of the Ripper stretcher, better sized for those new to stretching. This makes it an ideal stretcher for sub 'r' to try. sub 'r' like to play anally, so she was volunteered to review this stretcher. So this is where I hand you over to the lovely sub 'r' for her view of Rhino.

Hi, sub 'r' here. As I am a fan of anal play, I wanted to play with this stretcher. Even though Rhino is a smaller version of the Ripper, it is still quite large at its widest part. Due to this, I played with the small size (I know my limits).

It's good to have the vac-u-lock compatible suction cup adaptor as it gives you more play options.

The rounded tip makes insertion relatively easy if you lube up well. I like to use a lube shooter to get some lube exactly where it's needed. Using plenty of water-based lube on the tip, I am ready to play. Placing the tip in position, I slowly push it inside. Taking the stretcher to a depth I feel comfortable with, I then like to slowly move it in and out.

The smooth silicone glides wonderfully over my skin. I enjoyed the feel of the silicone gliding inside, slowly stretching my dark hole until I was ready for more. As soon as my muscles had loosened enough, I added a little more pressure until I was able to take the whole insertable length, and that felt so good.

The feel of the stretch as it did its job was remarkable. I really enjoyed the smooth feel and the easy way the smooth sides moved against my skin. The base makes moving it in and out easy. Once I managed to sink, the whole insertable length inside the neck ensured that it would remain in place as a butt plug.

On removal, the wide brim just above the neck feels incredible as I pull it back out, stretching me again.

If you like girth in your stretching play or just want a butt plug then RHINO is a good option.

Cleaning the silicone stretcher is simple. You can clean it in a dishwasher or in hot, soapy water. I prefer to wash my butt plugs in the sink with anti-bacterial soap and warm water.

As soon as it is clean, I prefer to dry it on paper towels. Once I am sure it is dry, it is placed into its storage bag to keep it clean and ready for my next session.

Rhino is a simple-looking plug, but sometimes that is all you need. It's proportions work very well, and I certainly enjoy playing with it.

Final Thoughts

I enjoyed playing with my Rhino. This is an ideal stretcher for those who are new to anal stretching. The rounded tip and the slowly expanding girth make it a great stretcher for newbies to explore this style of play.

If you want a stretcher but you are new to anal stretching, then I can highly recommend trying the small-sized Rhino.

The smooth silicone glides well against moist skin, so do not forget the lube. If you really like this design, you can buy the next size until you are stretched to the right size you want.
