I did not have long to wait before my doorbell rang, and there was a large box on my doorstep. The box was a plain brown robust box, securely sealed with brown parcel tape.

On opening the box, I removed the packing paper to reveal the contents. Under the paper was a small plastic, branded carrier bag. Inside the bag were four faux velvet storage bags. These are excellent quality and are perfect for storing your new friend between play sessions.

Under the carrier bag were all four sizes of Elysium, a body-safe silicone depth trainer. Each depth trainer was inside a transparent, heat-sealed film with three stickers on each trainer. One was the firmness rating, a JTT branded sticker and one to remind you to wash the toy before using it.

Elysium comes in very minimalistic packaging which means less waste.

I really appreciate the discreet packaging and know I can relax knowing that no one else knows the naughty contents being delivered.

Materials and design

JTT uses platinum-grade silicone for their insertable sex toys, as it is medical grade, making it perfect for insertable toys. Silicone is PVC, latex and phthalate free. Silicone is my preferred material for internal toys as it is body-safe, non-porous and hypoallergenic.

The only drawback with silicone is that it's a more expensive material than some other manufacturers use. But, it is an excellent material for insertable toys. Silicone is also more durable than cheaper materials, which is why JTT can offer a lifetime warranty on their insertables.

Not all manufacturers use the copper moulding method JTT prefers. This method is more expensive but is a perfect way to ensure no details are lost in the moulding process.

Elysium is very flexible which makes dpeth play less of a challenge.

JTT's designers work hard to develop some unique designs, and Elysium is undoubtedly different. This design, at first glance, looks similar to a tower of stacking rings that I played with as a child. The rings are smaller than my childhood plastic rings in both depth and height, plus the rings are topped off with a ball.

On closer look, you can see the intricate diamond-shaped patterning interlocking the entire surface. These patterns are very delicate and add some lovely details to the whole look. The rings provide some marvellous ridges you are tempted to play with as soon as possible.

I love the surface texture on Elysium.

This depth trainer is a fantastic length, with the tip being narrow and small, roughly the same size as the first ring. Each ring grows in diameter the further down the shaft you go, ending in a wide circular base. One side of the base has the JTT logo, and the other side has the JTT name. Under the base is a vac-u-lock compatible hole.

This depth trainer is soft and pliable, a perfect feature for a depth trainer. As this is vac-u-lock compatible, JTT also provides a free vac-u-lock compatible suction cup holder/adaptor with these depth trainers.

JTT also provides a free faux velvet storage bag with every toy purchased.

Performance

This depth trainer is designed for anal play. However, it can also be used vaginally. I played with Elysium anally and vaginally, for science, obviously.

I received all four sizes of Elysium, so I could easily select which size was best for me. JTT does provide a detailed list of measurements for each size to allow you to choose with as much confidence as me.

I chose to play with the large vaginally and the small anally. I do not play much anally, but I was determined to try the small one.

With my trusty water-based lube on hand and the two depth trainers freshly washed, I was ready to take them for a ride.

I decided to play vaginally first, so adding some lube to the tip of the large trainer, I began by rubbing it across my clit. I loved the feel of the ridges and the intricate design rubbing against my clit. I quickly added some more lube down the rest of the length.

Rubbing the tip across my clit as I moved it inside my pussy. I loved the sensations the ridges caused as I moved them past my entrance and over my pussy walls. After playing vaginally for a while, it was time to play anally.

Lubing up the entire length of the small trainer, I was ready to play more. The rounded tip was a little challenging to insert, but once inside, I loved the feel of the slight stretch and almost pop as I pushed each ridge inside. The additional stretch of each slightly larger ridge was an enjoyable challenge, and the feel of the ridges rubbing inside felt amazing.

I was not able to take the full length, but I enjoyed the feel and the option of being able to take it further inside than a standard butt plug. The flexibility of this trainer made using it comfortable for me.

After play, I like to clean mine with anti-bacterial soap in hot, soapy water. Using a soft-bristled toothbrush, I ensure that all body fluids are removed from between each ridge. Once clean, I placed them onto separate strips of kitchen roll to dry.

The black suction cup holder/adaptor has been manufactured by JTT and has the JTT trademark name on the top of the suction cup. The prongs are rounded and designed to hold onto the silicone toy whilst preventing the chance of ripping on removal. To aid removal, I recommend a light sprinkling of corn starch into the hole before fitting the adaptor.

Elysium is vac-u-lock compatible.

The black faux velvet storage bag is made with a strong, thick material which has been well-made. One side of the bag has the JTT name and logo printed in white. The bag protects the contents from dust, hair, and dirt between each play session.

Elysium is the perfect depth play toy for anyone wanting something with some really lovely texture, as each ridge feels amazing on the way in and also on the way out again.

Final Thoughts

I enjoyed playing both vaginally and anally with this design. The ridges create some fantastic sensations, and the flexibility made it more comfortable for me to use anally. Using two at the same time can also be highly recommended.

Due to the flexibility, I did not play using the vac-u-lock compatible suction cup holder/adaptor, but this could make play more enjoyable for those more flexible than I am.

JTT provides a list of measurements for their designs to help you buy the right size. I highly recommend checking the measurements before purchase.
