John Thomas MAESTRO Platinum Silicone Dildo Review

Delivery & Packaging

I did not need to wait long before the delivery driver had a large stack of boxes at my front door. Each box was plain brown, made from robust cardboard and sealed with lots of wide brown tape to keep it sealed in transit.

The box had a discreet shipping label that did not mention the JTT website. I appreciate the discreet packaging as I would rather the delivery driver or my neighbours not know about the naughty contents.

On opening the box, I removed the packing paper to reveal the contents. There was a small black plastic carrier bag with the JTT logo. Inside the bag were four black faux velvet storage bags.

Under the bag were all four Maestro dildos. Each dildo was wrapped in a heat-sealed, transparent film. The film was robust and ensured that no dust or dirt would stick to the dildo whilst in transit.

Materials and design

Maestro is made from platinum-grade silicone. It is an expensive material, but for good reason. Silicone is body-safe, hypoallergenic, non-porous and more robust than some cheaper materials. Silicone is also free of phthalate, PVC, and latex, which is good for your body.

Platinum-grade silicone is a better material than some other companies use, as it has better heat resistance and higher purity. It is also a more robust material, making it a fantastic option for insertable toys. It is so good that JTT offers a no-quibble lifetime warranty on their wares.

Maestro is a bulbous toy. The egg-shaped stack begins with a slightly large egg, then two marginally smaller eggs. Each shape is stacked on the other, providing a narrow joint between the two. The final ball is a lot larger and has a more rounded shape. The base is a wide square with the JTT logo and name each side.

The bulbous tip makes anal insertion a nice challenge.

This shape and design make it very flexible, which is extremely useful if you are playing analy with Maestro, but insertion requires some patience and gentle pressure.

Like all JTT insertables, they are on the larger side, going from big to huge to OMG! It is essential to pay attention to the sizing table of the JTT website; a summary of the four sizes is shown below. Don't let your eyes be bigger than your orifice.

If you can take the full length of the dildo, the square base helps to ensure that it cannot be taken too deep. It also provides something to hold onto when removing it after play. Under the base is a vac-u-lock compatible hole.

JTT provides a free black faux velvet storage bag with every toy purchased. These black bags have the JTT logo and name printed on one side in white. The bags are well made and have a drawstring closure. JTT also provides a free vac-u-lock compatible suction cup holder/adaptor with every compatible toy. These holders/adaptors are manufactured by JTT, are black and have the JTT name. They work very well on smooth surfaces.

It is great to have toys that are vac-u-lock compatible as it means you can use them on strap-on harnesses or fucking machines. But, the flexibility of Maestro means it is not ideally suited for fucking machine play, unfortunately.

As you can see, even the large Maestro is nice and flexible.

Performance

Maestro is a long, flexible dildo. It is a perfect length if you also enjoy depth play. With all four sizes in front of me, I felt slightly intimidated by the larger sizes and the length.

I decided to play with the medium Maestro vaginally. I knew the medium would be a challenge I would no doubt enjoy.

With my trusty water-based lube on hand, I was ready to play. Laying back on my bed, I drizzled some lube onto the head. Holding the bottom of the first bulb, I rubbed the tip over my folds before pushing it between them.

I enjoyed the feel of the smooth silicone rubbing over my folds, but even more so when I rubbed my clit with it. After getting my clit nice and hard, it was time to sink it inside my wet pussy. Due to the broad tip, it took some pressure before I was able to push it inside.

The stretch caused was delicious. After additional pressure, I managed to push the entire first bulb inside. It almost felt like the bulb popped into place. I spent time gently pulling and pushing the dildo to move it slightly inside me. As soon as I was ready, I added more lube to the second bulb before pushing it inside.

The vac-u-lock suction cup adaptor is useful for holding Maestro in place.

I took my time building the pressure to push more of the second bulb inside. I thoroughly enjoyed the stretch of my pussy walls caused by the large bulbs. As soon as I sank the second bulb inside, I gently pushed and pulled the linking bulbs. Not to remove it but just to cause some friction inside and to also rub the third bulb against my clit.

Maestro is not a toy I could ram in and out, but that does not mean I enjoyed the sensations any less. Maestro is a vac-u-lock compatible dildo. However, this is not something I used this way as it is very floppy, and I found it too difficult. This could be more to do with my disabilities than anything else.

After my play session, I washed the dildo in hot water using an anti-bacterial soap. Cleaning this way was simple as there was no area where body fluids would stick.

Once clean, I placed it on several sheets of kitchen roll to dry. After several hours, I placed it inside its faux velvet storage bag to keep it clean until the next time.

Maestro is fun, especially for those not into extremely textured dildos. The smooth surface coupled with those bulges means it glides, stretching you repeatedly as you move it in and out, generating fabulous sensations.

Final Thoughts

My first impression of Maestro was that it looked a little like a supersized set of anal beads. Maestro is a dildo that can be used both vaginally and anally. I enjoyed playing vaginally, so I could not take the full length. However, I still thoroughly enjoyed playing with what I could take.

The large bulbs provide a wonderful stretch, while the smooth silicone adds a lovely feel as it glides against my wet skin. The long length would be great for those who enjoy depth play.
