Harrow Bulb Depth Trainer From John Thomas Toys Review

Once I am told that the box has been dispatched, I do not have long to wait before toys from John Thomas Toys (JTT) arrive at my door.

JTT sent out the full set of Harrow Bulbs in a plain robust box. The box was well sealed, so there was no chance of anyone getting a little peek at the contents.

The box only has the delivery label, so I don't need to worry about the delivery driver knowing the naughty contents.

The box is packed with brown packaging paper, ensuring the set of four Harrow Bulbs do not move in transit. Each toy is covered in a robust, clear heat sealed plastic. On the plastic are several stickers, one to remind you to wash before use, one with the JTT logo and another to let you know the firmness rating.

I love the fact that I never have to worry about how discreet deliveries are from JTT, I can just relax and wait for the products to arrive.

Materials and design

Harrow Bulb is made with a lovely blend of platinum silicone. A hypo-allergenic, non-porous, body-safe material which is also latex and PVC free.

JTT use copper moulds for Harrow Bulb. This is a more expensive system than the standard moulds other companies use. The beauty of copper moulds is that they ensure that every toy that comes out of that mould will have precisely the same features.

Using their hand-pouring technique called fusion provides a unique colour mix. This means that every Harrow Bulb has a unique colour, so although the shape is the same, the colour is not. I do love the way this technique makes the colours mix. The finished effect looks genuinely fantastic.

Harrow Bulb looks like a smooth tentacle. Long, thin and floppy with a bulbous base. Just one look, and you know that this is an anal depth play toy.

Featuring a thin tip, which aids easy insertion. The length slowly grows as you move down until reaching the large base. The large base ensures you will not have to worry about the toy going too far inside.

Of course as this is a John Thomas Toys depth trainer you can really go deep or wide and it is important to check out the sizes on the JTT website before you place your order. These are big toys and you need to be sure you can enjoy your purchase. Don't let your eyes be larger than your butt hole.

The base has the JTT logo and name, which adds a great finishing touch. At the bottom of the toy is a vac-u-lock compatible hole.

The base of the Harrow Bulb is reassuringle wide and carries the JTT logo.

JTT also sent a free vac-u-lock compatible suction cup holder and a faux velvet storage bag.

The suction cup holder works really well on smooth flat surfaces like tiles.

The faux velvet storage bag is made from a thick material and stitched together well. Making it strong enough to hold even the extra large size securely. One side of the black bag has the JTT logo and website printed in white.

Performance

I was sent all four sizes in the soft firmness rating, so I just needed to decide which size to try first. I decided to go for the small one first, because that's all I can take LOL.

As a depth play toy, the smooth tentacle-type design slides in easily. The tapering provides a lovely smooth expansion of the width, meaning I could enjoy the depth and the stretch.

The small tip makes for an easy insertion, and the soft firmness rating makes it fit my body well. I had to feed it slowly inside as it is very flexible. The flexibility ensures that it feels comfortable as it moves within your body. The fun part is the deeper you take it, the wider it gets. This fact makes it a great anal trainer for beginners. Although if you are not a beginner, choose one of the larger sizes to enjoy.

It's hard to describe how good deep anal play can feel. Use lots of lube and enjoy the unfamiliar feeling of being stretched and filled. I love the sensation.

As a vac-u-lock compatible toy, I tried using it with a fucking machine. But with the flexibility, I found it challenging to use. Using the suction cup holder worked well though. This helped by holding Harrow Bulb still while I was left to concentrate on feeding the end inside myself. With water-based lube on hand, I enjoyed the feel of guiding the toy inside a little deeper at a time.

Cleaning after play is extremely easy as the smooth design leaves nowhere to gather body fluids. I prefer to use hot soapy water with anti-bacterial soap. You can also place Harrow Bulb in the dishwasher.

After thoroughly cleaning it, I prefer to leave mine to fully air dry before placing it back into the JTT storage bag. The JTT storage bags work brilliantly. The strong faux velvet material looks great and holds its contents safely. The bag is an excellent way to keep dust and dirt away from Harrow Bulb while stored away between play sessions.
