Answers to common E-Stim questions.
Lots of people get highly aroused by the feeling of a full bladder and that is often put down to the pressure it exerts on nerves in our pelvic region.
Practising e-stim whilst enjoying a full bladder is safe as long as you don't hold onto your urine to the point that it is painful.
You should take measures in case of slight incontinence while stimming as the contractions of your muscles could allow some urine to be released with a full bladder, but apart from that you can enjoy it. If you are worried about using e-stim kit with a full bladder then talk you your health professional first.
My cock loop insulators are available for convenience. The files for printing one yourself are available for free as well. But there are lots of other ways to insulate the top portion of a cock loop without resorting to 3D printing things, such as:
1. Use a piece of card or plastic under the loop to keep it from touching your skin.
2. Use insulating tape to insulate a portion of your cock loop.
3. Once you know your measurements you could use heat shrink tubing on your CR loops to insulate sections of it.
4. You can use cut down lengths of a straw with the CR going through it.
There are lots of other ways but these tend to be the most common ones. I hope that helps.
This is the reason why Insulating a Cock Ring is a good idea.
Most TENS units use a cable with a 2mm plug on the end and so you will need to get conductive rubber cock ring or metal cock ring that accepts this size of plug. Alternatively you can get adaptors to take your 2mm plug and turn it into a 4mm one or vice versa.

The use of e-stim or Electrostimulation devices is widespread for erotic pleasure (electorsex). As with all activities there is an element of risk but this can be minimised by only using equipment from reliable and respected suppliers.
E-Stim is generally accepted to be unsuitable for anyone who is pregnant, is wearing a pacemaking, has a history of heart disease or arrhythmia. It should also never ben used across the chest, keeping it below the waistline is the accepted norm.
All commercial equipment should be checked that it meets BS6061-15 and carries CE mark. It is illegal for someone to sell electrical products in the UK without this mark for a reason. Never compromise on your personal safety.
By bearing these simple things in mind you reduce the risks significantly and can then focus on enjoying the activity.

It is true that due to physiological differences penis and vagina owners will enjoy different aspects of e-stim. It is our differences that makes e-stim so much fun to explore and enjoy. It is ideal for couples and it can be a huge turn on to use e-stim devices on someone else or to hand over control to your partner for your stimming session.
So e-stim is for everyone and the myriad of different electrodes means that all sexes have lots of options to explore.
If you are lucky enough to be introducing someone to the amazing world or e-stim play then you have a huge repsonsibility to manage their first session to make sure that they get the most out of it and so here are some very quick pointers:
Don't set your expectations too high - A hands free orgasm is fantastic but unlkely during a first session due to nerves.
Give your partner the controls - This will help allay any nerves and allow them to find the right levels for them.
There is no such thing as a stupid question - Answer all questions fully and honestly, they will have lots of questions.
Keep it simple - Don't go setting up multiple electrodes and tri-phase set ups, let your partner experiment with a simple rig.
Take your time - Give them plenty of time to experiment, have a vibrator or other sex toy handy to finish off the session if they don't get a HFO.
Reassure them - Trying e-stim for the first time can actually be a terrifying thought so reassure them and maybe use the kit on yourself first so they can see it won't harm them.
Communicate - You need to communicate effectively to get the most of of things.
Hopefully their first time will be as memorable as mine and they will be hooked on this amazing activity.

If you have any form of a heart condition, you definitely should NOT practice any kind of electrosex or e-stim activity before discussing it with your doctor.
Always consult a medical professional if you have any doubt as to your fitness to e-stim. It isn't worth taking any chances if you have a heart condition.
It can be painful if you want it to be, or as gentle as the feeling of butterfly wings caressing your skin. It all depends on how you play, you can crank up the power until it hurts like hell and you cramp up, and that is ideal for BDSM sessions.
Or, you can lay back and have it deliver incredibly sensual sensations that can't be recreated any other way. I prefer the latter and regularly orgasm from stimming. My pelvic floor muscles clench and release in time with the e-stim pulses. It actually feels like I am being fucked and this sensation is amplified if I am using an insertable electrode.
Generally most e-stim control boxes deliver sensations that can be described as light pins and needles or scratching and on lower power settings this can be incredibly erotic. You don't switch on an e-stim control box and receive a shock which seems to be everyones pre-conceived concept of the activity.
So yes it can hurt if you want it to but most people enjoy it for the pleasurable sensations that it can deliver, oh and the hands free orgasms are a bonus too. A huge bonus.
However the community is divided on the risks. I believe in never stimming above the waist unless you know what you are doing and understadn the risks involved, but with bi-polar nipple clamps the risks involved are small but they are still there. Your heart uses tiny electrical impulses to operate correctly and it is dangerous to interfere with that in any way.
My attitude is that it's better safe than sorry so I advise against it. If you want nipple stimulation while you stim I suggest investing in a good set of nipple clamps.
You should use conductive lube with all external electrodes with the exception of the self-adhesive monopole pad electrodes. If you use conductive lube with them, they simply won't stick. You are best using a strap over themn to hold them in place and it's best to shave areas where you will be using these pads as the glue can be very strong.
Wearing rubber gloves is definitely best practice, especially if you will be touching live electrodes.
This prevents the possibility of a shock through the chest cavity by making a circuit and having the current run up your arm.
It is equally important if you are self stimming or stimming someone else. Wearing rubber gloves negates the risk of accidentally touching a contact while playing and inducing a current through the chest. Any wayward currents passing through the chest have the possibility of interfering with your hearts normal operation.
