The boxes arrived quickly inside plain cardboard boxes. The robust boxes were very discreet, which was very much appreciated. The plain cardboard is well-sealed and only has the shipping label on the box. The shipping label does not even have the website address. It is nice that the delivery driver does not know the naughty contents.

Inside the box is packing paper, keeping the contents from moving too much in transit. After removing the paper, I found all four sizes of Colon Balls.

I was sent all three sozes of Colon Balls and they are immense.

Each set of balls was in a clear, heat-sealed plastic. On the bags were several stickers. One to let me know the firmness rating, a JTT logo and lastly, one to remind me to wash the set before use.

There was also a small reusable JTT branded black carrier bag. This bag contained four JTT branded faux velvet storage bags.

Materials and design

JTT uses copper moulds to produce their products. Colon Balls are made using a split mould due to the shape. Due to this method, there is a fine joining line. The majority of JTT's toys are made using a single mould to produce their products.

Colon Balls is made with a platinum-grade silicone. Silicone is ideal for insertable toys because it is Phthalate, latex and PVC-free. It is also hypoallergenic, body-safe, and non-porous.

All four sizes are the same length with just the diameter of the balls being different.

The design of Colon Balls is similar to the good old-fashioned anal beads. There are several differences, though. Firstly, all the balls on Colon Balls are the same size. The second difference is much more obvious at first glance. That is their huge size.

JTT have certainly put their own spin on anal beads by supersizing them. Colon Balls is not for newbies to anal. With four sizes to choose from and two firmness ratings, there are options. The small is not small enough for those new to anal, at roughly the size of a satsuma.

These supersized anal beads are not only large, but the chain is also quite long at 45 inches. All four sizes are the same length; it is just the ball and link size that changes.

JTT are kind enough to put a complete list of measurements for each size on their website. I highly recommend checking these measurements before you buy.

I was sent all four sizes in the medium firmness rating. This rating provides a small amount of squish when squeezed. The chain ends with a flat plug.

The end of the Colon Balls features a nice wide base to prevent any accidents.

The silicone material has a smooth texture with a slight drag. I recommend having plenty of water-based lube on hand.

JTT also sends a free black faux velvet storage bag with every purchase. These bags have JTT branding on one side. The branding is in a white print and consists of the JTT logo and name. The material is strong and has a drawstring closure.

Hi everyone, it is sub 'r' here. As Joanne instructed me to review these anally, this is how I got on with Colon Balls from JTT.

I am not a newbie to anal play, but even the small size was a massive challenge for me. With a large bottle of water-based lube on hand, I knew I would need to open myself up before I would be able to even attempt to take the small-size Colon Balls.

I decided to open myself up with some e-stim first. I wired up and inserted my favourite E-stim Systems Moaner electrode. This was wired up to my e-stim systems 2B Control box. I added water-based lube to the Moaner before inserting it inside my rectum. Once inserted, I switched the 2B control box onto my favourite settings. Starting with the power on low, I enjoyed the sensations caused before adding some lube to my fingers. Using my lubed up fingers to rub my clit, I enjoyed all the sensations running through me.

Even the small size has a lot of girth, sub'r' did well to take these.

As soon as I was relaxed and loose enough, I removed the Moaner and readied the Colon Balls with water-based lube. Once the first ball was lubed up, I slowly worked it inside my rectum.

It was slow work as this is definitely the largest item I have inserted previously. I found the spherical shape was not easy to push inside. The medium firmness rating provides a small amount of squish but not enough to allow me to create a narrow tip to insert it.

I slowly pushed the first ball inside after applying constant wiggling and pressure. The feel of the stretch this provided meant that I needed to stop any further progress for a minute.

As soon as I was accustomed to the stretch, I readied the second ball. First, I slowly pushed the thick link inside, which deepened the first ball. I then began slowly working inside the second ball.

Once both the first two balls were inside, I could not insert any more. I did enjoy the push and pull that the chain allowed me to enjoy the movement of the inserted balls.

There is a lot of distance between each ball which means you can do some seriously deep depth play with these.

The stretched feel provided by the balls was intense. They had me squirming with pleasure immediately. The more I squirmed, the more sensations are caused as the balls move inside me.

At the end of each play session, I pull gently on the chain, which stretches slightly before slowly pulling each ball out with it. The sensation as each one first stretched me to my limit and then popped out was intense, and it is a sensation that I love.

I like the colon balls, but they are not for beginners to anal play, and to be honest, I could have done with a smaller one with fewer balls.

Cleaning Colon Balls is very simple and straightforward. I prefer to use hot water and anti-bacterial soap. If you prefer, you can use a dishwasher. The smooth design means few areas can trap goo. I like to double-check the join of the chain to the balls.

Once clean, I lay the length on some paper towels to air dry. When fully dry, I carefully put it inside the JTT faux velvet storage bag, ready for my next session. The storage bag provided by JTT works very well.
