BDSM equipment can be quite expensive so when you check out kits that are relatively cheap you can find that your expectations are not exactly what they should be. After all you get what you pay for right? When this kit arrived I had already done a bit of research about both it and its manufacturer so I knew what to expect when it arrived
Retailing at just £24.99 it was going to be one of those products that's either going to be great value for money or a total let down.
I have to admit that I didn't have high expectations for it when it arrived, firstly though a quick comment on the packaging and delivery by AdultShopIt.co.uk. This kit arrived very well packaged together with a couple of other items that I am still reviewing and it arrived quickly with no indication as to the contents of the package as you would expect.
This kit comes in a very attractive retail display box with a great front image showing all five items in use and it certainly wets the appetite. The box has the usual description and information on the back as well as a break down of the materials used. It even carries a QR code that you can scan to go straight to the manufacturers website.
The kit itself consists of four wrist or ankle cuffs together with a blindfold and these are made out of Velboa fabric which is really soft to touch, almost like velvet in fact and it feels good against the skin. The blindfold features an elastic strap that gives it a one size fits all solution and I even though I have a quite small forehead and it fitted me snugly, I also got my "Stunt Cock" to try it on and it was also comfortable for him to wear with his big head.
The blindfold is very effective, it's soft and it distorts to the contours of your face effectively preventing any peeking no matter how hard you try. I did notice a little bit of light leaking in from around my nose but I was impressed by how well it worked and also how comfortable the Velboa fabric is. I can comfortably wear it for long periods and to test this out I slept in it one night and it was very comfortable, it did lead a slight red mark on my skin where the elastic strap was pressing though but that wasn't a problem and in five minutes that had gone.
So far everything had exceeded my expectations but how would the velcro fastening restraints work out?
One of the best features about this kit is the soft velcro closing restraints, all four are the same size and each comes with a very strong 112cm long black polypropylene webbing straps that are securely stitched to the restraints.
One thing that can often put off beginners to BDSM fun and games is the harshness of how some of the equipment can appear and these restraints are the complete opposite to that, they are soft and strong whilst also being very luxurious to wear. The quick release velcro fastening is also great for a number of reasons.
It makes fitting them a very quick and simple process but the biggest advantage of it is that if you have a problem or say a loss of circulation to the hands then the restraints can be very quickly removed and this is an important safety feature of these restraints.
Velcro straps are inherently not as strong as buckle style restraints though but these fit snuggly and I have not been able to struggle out of them. You won't be able to use these for suspension games but for everyday restraint play they are more than adequate, I prefer them to some of my leather cuffs for their speed of use and comfort.
One problem with regular restraints is that you need to either clip them together or you need something to clip the restraints to in order to immobilise the wearer and this isn't always practical in a hotel room or bedroom for example.
These restraints come with a long, very strong webbing strap can be simply tied up to anything, chair arms, table legs or anything else to hand. You can even tie two of them round something as small as a pencil and then hang them over a door before closing it to create a simple and effective restraint system where you can restrain your submissive in a standing position against the door. Their use is limited only by your imagination, if you fancy some outdoor fun you can use these restraints to anything, even some trees in the woods.
As they are very light and also compact they would be an ideal option for something to pack in your baggage to give your next holiday a bit of extra spice.
This kit is really quite good, the flexibility of the restraints coupled with the blindfold gives you a great entry level kit suitable for anyone interested in experimenting with some tie tease fun and games or even for an experienced player as it can give you some more flexible options in your tool box.

I actually really like this kit, it's not bulky like some of my other restraints and that makes it an ideal option for taking away on holday for some kinky fun. It's cheap and as it gives you a nice blindfold and four restraints it's also great value for money too. I love the long straps as these are easy to tie to each other or to items of furniture turning any room into an instant playroom. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to dip their toes into the turbid waters of the BDSM scene or for anyone looking for low profile, light and safe restraints to add to their collection.
