Anal Explorer Dildo From John Thomas Toys Review

JTT sent out my Anal Explorer dildos in a strong, plain cardboard box. Even the label was discreet, which I really appreciate. You can rely on them to pack orders discreetly.

I was lucky to receive all four sizes, so the box was large and reasonably heavy. I can't help but feel sorry for the delivery drivers back.

On opening the box, brown paper packaging holds the contents still in transit. Each dildo is wrapped in a robust, transparent, heat-sealed plastic wrap. On each dildo is a set of stickers. One to remind you to wash the dildo before first use, one stating the firmness rating and the JTT logo.

I am so lucky to receive all four sizes to compare them against each other.

Inside the box were several vac-u-lock compatible suction cup holders. JTT have designed their own version, which they sent with the dildo.

I also received four JTT faux velvet branded storage bags.

Materials and design

JTT's Anal Explorer is designed as an anal depth trainer. Inspired by Mr Michelin, another JTT design. The tyre design promises lots of stimulation when thrusting with it.

Anal Explorer is made from platinum-cured silicone. This is an excellent material for insertable dildos. It is non-porous, body-safe, hypoallergenic, PVC, latex and phthalate-free.

It's also a more robust material than some others. This comes at a cost, though, and that is why silicone sex toys are more expensive than toys made from more dubious materials.

JTT uses copper moulds in the manufacturing process. Whilst this is a more expensive method than most other manufacturers use, it does help to ensure the quality of every dildo. It is the perfect way to ensure every ridge and bump will be the same for each and every dildo that comes out of that mould.

I was sent all four sizes in the soft firmness rating. This means the silicone has a nice amount of squish but not enough to lose shape. The dildo is a good length for depth training. It is also flexible and a little floppy, two good aspects for anal depth penetration.

The soft version is very flexible and has a nice amount of squish when you clamp down on it.

The deep ridges along the entire length promise many sensations. The tip is smooth, and the remaining length is made from stacked tyres. The Anal Explorer is the same width along the entire shaft. The base is larger than the shaft, making it safe for anal play.

The base has the JTT logo on one side and their name on the other. The broader base provides a great handhold area, and a vac-u-lock compatible hole is underneath.

I also received the JTT branded storage bags, one for each dildo. These are made from a black faux velvet material with a drawstring closure. One side has the JTT logo and name printed in white. The material is robust enough to hold the weight of the silicone dildo. The bags are both stylish and functional.

JTT also send out a free vac-u-lock compatible suction cup holder with every compatible dildo. This works brilliantly on smooth, flat surfaces like tiles or the bath. They are great for holding the dildo securely in place when using it.

The suction cup adaptor is a lot of fun to use and it's great that this dildo is vac-u-lock compatible.

The vac-u-lock hole also enables you to use this dildo with strap-on harnesses or fucking machines. It gives you lots of different play options.

Performance

Anal Explorer is an anal depth trainer but can also be used vaginally. I played vaginally with the medium-sized dildo.

This is my favourite part of my review because I get to explain how it feels to play (intensively review) with the Anal Explorer.

As soon as I pulled these dildos from the box, I was excited to try one out. The hardest part was deciding which size to enjoy. I decided to enjoy the medium as I would not be playing anally.

With a trusted bottle of water-based lube, I laid back and began to play. I started by playing with my clit. I love the feeling of rubbing lube into my clit. Starting off gently, then speeding up and increasing the pressure.

I feel my pussy clenching, waiting for something to squeeze. At this point, I knew I was ready to enjoy the feel of the Anal Explorer. I added a small amount of lube onto the head and shaft, then rubbed the smooth tip across my clit. After a few swipes of my clit, I opened my pussy lips and slid the dildo inside.

I could feel every bump as it slid inside my wet pussy. The feel of the ridges against my pussy walls was sublime. The bumps sliding in and out of my pussy felt amazing. The soft firmness rating provides some give, allowing me to squeeze it with my pussy, but still solid enough to not lose the shape.

The length meant I could enjoy the feel of it hitting my cervix when pushed in deep. I enjoyed moving the length against my clit each time I moved it in and out of my pussy. The length of the dildo enabled me to angle it just right to let me do this.

I had a few play sessions before writing this review. I played by hand, but I also had some sessions using my fucking machine. Every time, my toes curl quickly, my muscles tense, and it did not take long for me to come.

Cleaning is simple; place it in the dishwasher, or I prefer to wash mine in hot soapy water. Using antibacterial soap and a soft toothbrush between each bump.

After ensuring the dildo is clean, I leave mine to air dry before storing it inside the provided bag.

Final Thoughts

Anal Explorer is a nice-looking dildo. If you are looking for lots of bumpy sensations, it's an excellent option for anyone who wants to train in anal-depth play.

The soft silicone feels fantastic, and all those bumps feel incredible. The length allows for depth play, but it is not the super long length needed for deep depth play.

The Anal Explorer is also fun for vaginal play. The rings provide great stimulation both anally and vaginally.
