Well, I am so excited to tell you all about the NEW ElectroRings System from E-Stim Systems, a UK company renowned for the quality of its electrodes.

I have been lucky enough to have reviewed most of their electrodes in the past, and they make the core of my electrode collection.

I visited their factory in Watford and was blown away by their manufacturing methods and levels of quality control on their electrode production line. I see how they can happily offer a lifetime warranty on their electrodes.

But I digress. This post is about their latest addition to their range of electrodes - The ElectroRings System.

What is the ElectroRings System?

I have been biting my tongue for the last couple of months, as I was honoured when they sent me a complete set to hear my thoughts on them. I knew instantly that they were on to a winner. The design is similar to my popular double conductive rubber loop electrode, but this one takes the idea to a new level regarding performance and capability.

At its core, it features eight (yes, you read that right) different-sized machined aluminium cock loops that feature double 4mm sized sockets, one on each side. The sizes range from 30mm/1.2" in diameter to 65mm/2.6"; looking at it another way, 94mm/3.7" to 204mm/8" in circumference.

Working out which size you need is simple, take a piece of string or fabric measuring tape and measure the circumference of your penis at the base of the shaft and the circumference when the tape is wrapped about both your penis and testicles. This will tell you the circumference of the ring that you need. The rings you select need to be snug but not too tight when you are erect. Otherwise, you risk uncomfortable constrictions. You also need to ensure it isn't loose, which can lead to hot spots.

These cock loops are of fantastic quality, and they have a satin finish. Each has the size engraved on it, so you can't get confused when selecting which you want to use from your play bag. They can be used as regular cock loops placed around the shaft of the penis or both the penis and testicles for a snug fit.

The best way to use them is in a pair with the optional separator block and its fittings. This is where the system shines when it's used as a bi-polar electrode.

The separator block system allows you to firmly fix two loops together to make a solid electrode that isn't going to move.

The kit has a separator block, four Allen-headed screws, and two thumb screws. You use two Allen-headed screws to lock the separator block to the lower loop (the one that will go around your cock and balls). You then lube up this ring and slip it into place.

You can then lube up the shaft loop and slide it into place before using the thumbscrews to lock it to the separator block firmly. You could use the Allen-headed screws instead of the thumbscrews if using it on someone and you want them not to be able to remove it easily (insert evil grin).

Why are these electrodes going to be popular?

Firstly, their quality. E-Stim Systems are renowned for the quality and longevity of their electrodes, and metal electrodes are superior to other materials due to their much lower resistance. The finish of these is fantastic.

Secondly, they are very reasonably priced. Whether you use them individually or as a bipolar electrode, they offer good value for money.

Thirdly, the flexibility in terms of sizing options is fantastic, and with eight sizes to choose from, most people will be able to find the perfect fit.

Finally, I love that they take 4mm banana plugs; these are long-lasting and very strong connections. It also means this system will be compatible with cables you already have for other E-Stim Systems electrodes.

Where can you get them?

Well, firstly, you can source them directly from E-Stim Systems through either of their two sales sites:

I wonder....." />

I am looking to learn some new skills

So, I want to let you all in on a little secret. I am considering getting into the insertable electrode scene. By that, I mean body-safe silicone electrodes with metal electrode surfaces for excellent conductivity.

I am still in the planning phase, whether it is financially viable for me to get into producing low-volume but high-quality insertables. So far, I have made a name for myself due to my innovative 3D-printed electrode designs, and I am pretty good at what I do.

But here's the kicker: I've always wanted to make my insertables, but until recently, I had yet to decide what I wanted to make or how I could bring this dream to life.

Why would I want to make silicone insertable electrodes when the market already has lots to choose from?

Well, none of them combine my two loves. Firstly, e-stim, and that is covered, I admit, but I want a silicone insertable that would allow e-stim play when using a fucking machine or even a strap-on harness. That is not readily available with lots of options, the Komodo dildo from Electrastim does tick that box though.

I also believe that lots more can be done for anal insertables in terms of electrode options and configurations. I have some ideas, and tackling a massive project like this would allow me to explore those options.

My biggest problem will be costs. I cannot buy in bulk, and I also can't outsource production, although I will need to do that for some metal electrode surfaces I have in mind. Anything I make will be expensive due to material costs and time. This is a labour-intensive process, and on top of my current workload, it will tax me. So, my creations won't be cheap, but I hope they will bring something new and innovative to the market, and they will, like all of my other designs, tackle some of the shortfalls or problems we encounter when stimming.

Why is this such an expensive enterprise?

Let me give you some numbers; I will need to purchase several pieces of kit to do these electrodes.

Firstly, I will need a vacuum de-gassing chamber to remove bubbles from the catalysed silicone before adding it to the moulds. This is £199 for a chamber and vacuum pump. I may need to use a pressure vessel and compressor, too, but I hope to be able to get by without getting one unless I need to.

Secondly, I will need to purchase several silicone blends, one to make the sleeve moulds for the electrodes and others to experiment with to get the right hardness/softness balance in the designs. Small packs start at £25, and I will need several before considering buying in larger quantities to reduce costs.

I will need pigments; these will need to be body-safe, as will the silicone. I am going with Smooth-on silicones. It is expensive but the best and FDA-approved for direct body contact.

Then there is PPE, mixing equipment, consumables, and the list goes on and on.

That's before I even consider electrode surfaces, connecting wires and sockets, nuts, bolts, washers - you get the gist.

This will be a slow project to get off the ground without business loans or crowd-funding options.

Design Ethos

I want to experiment and produce a range of electrodes that satisfy the following criteria.

Dildo Type Electrodes

Made from body-safe materials.

Have metal electrode surfaces for excellent conductivity.

Come in a range of colours and sizes.

Be vac-u-lock compatible so they can be fitted to fucking machines or even a strap-on harnesses.

Texture: lots of lovely texture to heighten sensations when thrusting.

Bipolar electrode design.

Here is the design I am currently working on.

My design for a bipolar thrusting electrode that should be a lot of fun. The texture on the lower half makes a great hand hold.

Prostate Electrode

Made from body-safe materials.

Have metal electrode surfaces for excellent conductivity.

Come in a range of colours.

Have six electrodes to choose from, four internal and two external ones.

Broad base for safety.

Here is another design that I am currently working on.

This electrode was designed for prostate play but it will also work very well vaginally.

Conclusion

So, I will keep everyone posted as I progress toward bringing something to market that will be a breath of fresh air. I will do so with my usual eye for a novel twist to how we play to spice things up.

I hope you have found this update informative and made you sit back and think about challenging the status quo. Experimentation and innovation are what drive things forward. Let me know in the comments down below what you think of my two concept designs.

I'm proud to announce two new products this week (after a very long development period).

As a self-taught user of Fusion360, it takes me way longer to design products than someone would take if formally trained. But eventually, I do get there.

These two designs have been tweaked over a couple of months, and each product aims to remove a problem some people face when playing.

It has been a lovely process designing them and putting in the skills I have learned over time, and they look great and perform well, which is the most essential part.

In a break from my usual manufacturing process, I have enlisted the help of one of the UK's biggest SLS printing houses to make them so I can more accurately control the dimensions and use Nylon. This material is harder to print with.

So, on with the reveal.

E-Stim 6mm & 4mm Conductive Rubber Locks

I struggle to source regular 6mm cord locks; when I restock, I buy in cord locks that are marketed as being 7mm when, in fact, they are a tight fit with a piece of 6mm conductive rubber. While it doesn't affect their performance, I could do better, so I designed the world's first set of dedicated e-stim cord locks.

I decided that my design needed to satisfy several criteria, and these are:

Have holes that allow CR to be easily fitted.

Have a strong spring to enable them to lock the CR in place once adjusted effectively.

Be easy to use.

Be made from body-safe materials.

To work with different sizes of CR.

I have ticked all those criteria off my list with my design, and here it is.

Image showing Joanne's dual use 6mm and 4mm conductive rubber cord locks.

I have these made commercially in the UK on industrial SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) machines, which gives me incredible control over the quality and design.

They are made from high-quality PA2200 Nylon. This bio-compatible, robust and lightweight material is perfect for this product.

It takes both 6mm and 4mm conductive rubber, and while you can always fit 4mm in a regular 6mm cord lock, the spring will have expanded an extra 2mm before clamping the rubber. This weakens the grip on 4mm CR. My design assures that the lock grips 4mm CR as tightly as 6mm CR.

I made them in yellow and black because that is my favourite colour for e-stim kit, as you may already have worked out.

I am selling them in packs of two cord locks so you can use two loops simultaneously using these high-quality custom cord locks.

While more expensive than regular 6mm locks, the added features and quality mean they will last a long time and look great. My initial production run was for 50 sets, so grab a set before they are gone, as there will be quite a lead time for the next batch.

Insulated Cock Loops With Integrated Locks

Taking my design for my new range of cord locks, I wanted to know if I could integrate them with some of my electrode designs to tidy up e-stim electrode configurations.

I took my basic 6mm insulated loop and designed an inbuilt locking mechanism into the top of it to grip the conductive rubber tightly.

Then, rather than trying to source small and reliable stainless steel springs, which would raise their cost, I opted to use small lengths of 4mm conductive rubber that act as a spring.

This provides a robust clamping mechanism that locks the conductive rubber after adjustment.

Due to its excellent properties, I also opted to get this made from PA2200 Nylon.

I often use self-adhesive monopole pad electrodes when I stim; for me, it gives me a quick and easy way to wire myself up using external electrodes.

I know many penis owners also use them due to their flexibility and ability to be placed precisely where needed.

While self-adhesive monopole electrodes are available in many shapes and sizes, people often choose to trim the ones they have down to a smaller size to increase the perceived intensity levels.

It is a quick and easy way to get a perceived power increase from your control box.

While that is a simple, quick and easy option, it does come with some things that you need to be aware of, hence this wordy post that hopefully gets the message across.

There is nothing wrong with trimming down monopole pad-style electrodes as long as you are careful, and this is where I will highlight a couple of things.

But first, let me tell you about two incidents that I was made aware of from two experienced stimmers who were using pads and had some problems with their use.

Incident 1 - Shorting with another electrode.

This first incident happened when an experienced stimmer used small unmodified round self-adhesive monopole electrodes in conjunction with a metal cock cage used as another electrode.

These electrodes were not very sticky, but it is uncertain whether or not this was a contributing factor. It may have meant that more power was needed, which could have exacerbated the problem when it occurred, though.

Unfortunately, in use, one edge of the round pad electrode came into contact with the metal cage, causing a short. This created a lot of heat, leading to the burning (blackened area) in the image below.

Image showing a monopole pad electrode with a burnt edge.

Here is a description of what happened from the stimmer:

"Well - yesterday I was worried that the magic smoke may have escaped from my transformers or amp ... but everything seems fine (coil resistance seems right, no evidence of overheated or failed components, power supply voltage correct).
But I heard a crackle and smelt the acrid smoke of fried electronics. Of course, emergency power off!

Just about to test things again today, when I noticed the smoking gun! These 25mm pads are not very sticky, and this must have shifted to short against my cage/common terminal.
No sign of injury, and I didn't feel anything. But if I had been restrained, so I couldn't cut the power....?"
Experienced E-Stim User

Luckily, the stimmer started to smell the acrid fumes from the pad as it charred and quickly worked out the problem, shutting off the power and avoiding any injury.

Lesson 1: The point to highlight here is always to ensure that your electrodes are in good condition and carefully place them to ensure they can never touch another electrode.

Incident 2 - A modified pad-style electrode caught fire in use.

This second incident was more severe and occurred due to modifying a monopole pad-style electrode.

The electrode started as a 5cm x 5cm self-adhesive monopole pad electrode. The stimmer trimmed it down to about 2cm x 2xm and placed it on the top of the stimmers glans.

During use, it quickly heated up, causing the centre of the pad to catch fire. As you can see in the image below, the localised fire was at the end of the insulated portion of the connection wire. This burning and charring of the pad lead to a minor burn on the stimmer glans and probably PTSD whenever he sees a pad electrode again.

Image showing a monopole pad electrode with a burnt edge.

Here is a description of what happened from the stimmer:

"It arced right where the black dot is on the left
the next closest wire or electrode was several inches away
4+
This was head common
the only other electrodes was a CR loop at the base and a CR loop around balls
I watched it arc to itself
bright flash and then immediate flames
I clearly cut through the strands of wire at the end, it's hard to take a picture of though cause black on black"
Experienced E-Stim User

It can be deduced from the image that the pad had most of the conductive threads that run through the gel on the pad removed. This was the cause of the heat and eventual ignition of the pad.

Lesson 2 - When trimming a pad, you must ensure that a minimal amount of the conductive threads are cut away.

Safety Tips When Trimming Pad-Style Electrodes

I have never had any problems with unmodified pad-style electrodes, except for hotspots, as they lose their stickiness, and the corners start to lift. So consider them safe to use if they are in good condition.

Modifying them by trimming them to make them smaller is commonplace especially when experimenting with new electrode positions, but a few safety points must be considered.

As a general rule of thumb, keep the end of the connector cables insulation in the centre of any pad you trim. In other words, trim all four sides of the pad equally (assuming it is square or rectangular). That way, you still get the majority of the conductive threads left.

Don't trim pads down smaller than about 19mm x 19mm (3/4" x 3/4"), as doing so increases the risks highlighted in this article.

When trimming a pad for the first time (especially if using a new brand of monopole pads), have a damp cloth handy when you use it. It can quickly cool the pad and the area it was on after removing the power source if you have a problem.

Like any other electrode, inspect your pad-style electrodes before use. Are they still sticky? Is there any indication of discolouration caused by heating? Is the connection cable secure, and if modified, is the end of its insulated portion in the centre of the pad?

If you have concerns about your pad electrodes, discard them and use new ones. They are the cheapest form of electrode, and risking an injury is not worth it.

Well, it's time to grab the bull by the horns and get my live streams off the ground - finally.

I have been talking about it for ages and planning things while secretly being terrified of actually doing live streams, so please be gentle with me. Yes, I am usually a confident woman, but put me in front of a camera and watch me become a tongue-tied bundle of self-consciousness.

This one will be an unmitigated disaster; I can see it now. But, and this is a "big butt", it will allow me to test my system and see if I can finally get live streaming off the ground.

The lovely sub'r will join me, and Stunt Cock will make a rare appearance in front of the camera, too, for "immoral" support. They will both be there to help to steady my nerves; between all three of us, hopefully, at least one of us will have something to say.

So what is in store for this live stream?

Well, firstly, it is a technology validator. It will show me if the systems I now have in place are up to the challenge of live-streaming.

I have had to invest quite a bit of funds to be able to do these streams, but they are something I want to do to help raise awareness about e-stim and also to provide a platform for the community to share good ideas and best practices.

I have had to get Starlink to have an internet connection with enough bandwidth to stream. In the past, I have been able to get away with just an internet dongle for work-related activities, but the dongle isn't up to the challenge of delivering the speeds I need for streaming. So Starlink will hopefully be the answer to that problem.

It will also highlight the problems and challenges of keeping up with text conversations while talking into a camera live - eeeeek! This will be a new experience for us here, so don't expect anything polished, LOL.

It will show everyone that we are just three kinksters who love our e-stim and are prone to making fools of themselves.

This first stream will see me introduce the team here at Joanne's Reviews, and I will talk about some of the projects in the pipeline.

I am very busy at the moment, designing some new electrodes, and it might be an excellent way to present the concepts to everyone (if anyone turns up, that is).

Future ideas for streams include:

Q&A sessions, where my internet friends can ask questions and put me on the spot, as it were.

Advice sessions, where I can talk about different aspects of stimming and other forms of electroplay.

Product unboxings/reviews/featurettes, you know because that's what I do.

Well this is awkward, as I have never done anything like this before.

With the cost of living crisis ongoing, as with any business, cash flow is my biggest problem when looking at pushing my business forward.

So, I could do with some light help.

"Oh no, she's begging", I hear you cry. Well, that's only particularly accurate. Yes, I am looking for a way to generate some funds, but I'm not asking for donations.

I am pre-selling some things and perks. I like that more than sitting on the roadside, cap in hand, asking passers by for help.

Don't worry; I'm at no risk of going under, but time is pressing and I need to upgrade some of my facilities with Winter just around the corner to expand and increase what I am offering in my shop.

Primarily, it's where I am using most of my printers that needs addressing. I'm in an old barn with granite walls as a workshop/office, which is relatively damp and cold, as you can imagine. That's not good for 3D printers or the filaments I use to create my electrodes.

Last Winter, I had to stand with a hair dryer blowing on each printer, in turn, to raise their temperature to a point where their operating system wouldn't shut down for safety reasons. That took time, and was in all honesty, soul-destroying when I could have be doing more productive things.

I need to create a new enclosure to give my printers a better quality of life - awww. That should keep them sweet and producing the electrodes everyone seems to love.

So, this is my Joanne Needs A New Printer Enclosure Funding Drive

As I' a'm a peddler of adult products, I can't use the likes of GoFundMe to raise some quick funds; as heaven forbid, I corrupt anyone. So, I have to do it myself, hence this post about what I am proposing.

This is where the new enclosure is going

I need to clear the bottom end of the workshop, which is being used as a store/dumping ground for things I am getting around to doing.

I then need to purchase some industrial shelving, assemble and insulate it, separating each shelf into bays for my printers.

The work should take me around two weeks once I receive the shelving, and then my printers will each be in an insulated cube that will make them easier to manage in the Winter months and beyond.

Here are some concepts but this enclosure will have space for up to 12 3D printers.

The breakdown of my upcoming costs are:

Shelving - £350 + £15 P&P

Insulation - £135

Tape, Fixings - £25

3D printed parts - £25

Total - £550

This is where you can help should you see fit to do so. Of course, I am happy to accept drive-by donations through Ko-Fi or here on my site.

I am offering rewards for people willing to help out, which will be available in three tiers. Consider them as pre-orders for some unique electrodes, which is what I am offering in return.

Supporter Reward Packages

£25 Bronze Reward

Get a 6mm double cock loop or a Didi electrode printed in a metallic special edition colour.

Get your name on a plaque on the enclosure, listing you for all eternity as a special friend.

£50 Silver Reward

All of the Bronze rewards plus:

Get a 6mm Heaven & Hell electrode or a Bitter Pill electrode printed in a metallic special edition colour (so two electrodes).

Personalised thank you pic once the enclosure is finished.

£75 Gold Reward

All of the Bronze & Silver rewards plus:

Get a Double Penis Play Cock Loop electrode printed in a metallic special edition colour or a Vaginal Shield eletrode (so three electrodes).

You get to name one of the printer bays; it can be your social media handle or anything you want.

Once the enclosure is finished, I will send you a personalised thank you video showing your electrodes being made in your bay.

Update Sunday 6th Nov: I have decided on the colour for the limited edition electrodes.

I have decided on what colour I will use to make the special edition electrodes that will be sent to anyone donating on one of the tiers above. They will be made out of a lovely metallic filament that looks like bronze.

I think if King Leonidas of the "300" were alive today, I'm sure he would be a stimmer and bronze would be his colour choice. So, I am going to call them the limited edition 'Leonidas' range.

I hope you like the colour.

Update Monday 7th Nov: It looks like I may reach my target.

Well it looks like I may actually achieve the donation goal on this which has taken me a bit by surprise to be honest. I am so thankful for everyones generosity and support. It has spurred me into action, I have enough funds available now to order the racking and so that is on the cards for today.

I also need to think about some stretch goals if the level of donations exceeds my target and so here are what I have in mind:

STRETCH TARGET 1 - If I get to £650 and exceed my target I will be able to add RGB LED lighting to the enclosure bays. That will make my life easier when performaing maintenance on the printers and just setting up and clearing up jobs.

STRETCH TARGET 2 - If I get to £750 I will put acrylic doors on some of the bays and will be able to modify the printers inside these bays to be able to print in ABS. I will also be able to send each and every person who was kind enough to donate to this drive an extra electrode made in the limited edition 'Leonidas' colour scheme.

If you feel like helping out you can drop a donation or set up a reward package here - Joannes Printer Enclosure Funding Drive

If you're looking for a new way to spice up your bedroom playtime, look no further than electrostimulation. Also known as "estim," electrostimulation is a type of sexual play that uses electrical current to stimulate the nerves and produce a variety of pleasurable sensations. Whether you're looking for a more intense orgasm or just want to explore something new with your partner, estim can help you get there. Here's everything you need to know about electrostimulation and why you should try it tonight.

What is Estim?

Estim is short for "electrostimulation." As its name suggests, estim involves using electrical signals to stimulate the nerves and produce a variety of pleasurable sensations. Estim can be used for both medicinal and sexual purposes, I prefer the latter.

For example, estim has been used to treat various conditions like muscle pain, arthritis, and even incontinence. In the bedroom, estim can be used to enhance sensation and produce more intense orgasms.

There are two main types of estim: internal and external. Internal estim involves stimulating the nerves inside the body, typically with anal, vaginal plugs or even sounds. External estim, on the other hand, refers to stimulating the nerves that are located on the surface of the skin or just under it. This can be done with special electrodes that are placed on the body or with sex toys that are specifically designed for estim play.

How Does Estim Work?

Estim works by sending electrical current through the body to stimulate the nerves. When done correctly, this can result in a variety of pleasurable sensations ranging from a ticklish feeling to an all-out orgasm. The level of intensity will depend on both the person's threshold for pain as well as the strength of the electrical current being used. Now don't be put off by the mention of pain, estim is not all about that but if you keep turning up the dials it can get painful. Lower power levels can feel incredibly pleasurable though.

For those new to electrostimulation, it's important to start slow and increase the intensity gradually. It's also important to use a quality power source that can be adjusted as needed. I recommend starting with a lower-end power source like the E-Stim Systems Electropebble if you are new to estim, before moving up to something more advanced like the 2B e-stim control box from E-Stim Systems.

Well, after a long period of procrastination, I have finally bit the bullet and ordered a DG Lab Coyote e-stim control box for myself.

This small but powerful e-stim control box hit the marketplace in 2020 and has become a very popular control box for its features and small form.

I opted for the most expensive package that comes with electrodes and am looking forward to checking it out. I have a guest review of the Coyote on my site, which has proved to be popular, and there aren't many reliable reviews about it on the net. I intend to change that by doing one of my own.

The Coyote is a small but powerful dual-channel control box controlled through an app on your phone. iPhone and Android versions of the software are available, but I hear the iPhone version is not as good as the Android one. I have an iPhone, so I will be able to confirm or deny that soon.

It has remote play capabilities and boasts a whole host of advanced features. What I am looking forward to most about it is the fact that you can wear it and its small form makes stimming on the go much more straightforward.

I paid £125 ($138) for the Coyote with its accessories and electrodes, including delivery to the UK. I look forward to seeing how quickly it gets here and whether or not I will be stung for any import duties on the package.

So, hopefully, I will be able to give you my thoughts on this innovative control box option.

If you want to check it out or get one for yourself, you can do so direct from the manufacturer Dungeon-lab.com (aff).
